Your data in Pacto

Your conversation, saved privately

Pacto saves your conversation, the answers you choose, your draft pact, and the steps you complete on its server so you can return to them.

A private cookie lets this browser resume your conversation for 30 days. Clearing cookies or using another browser removes that access. Anyone using this browser may be able to continue your conversation.

Your email or Google sign-in connects the conversation to your account. Private videos are stored with your pact; playback uses temporary links.

Authorized Pacto operators can review conversations and step progress to improve the onboarding. Avoid sharing information you do not want stored.

After signing in, you can delete your saved conversations and pacts, including their progress and private videos. This control does not remove imported health and calendar records; use the connection controls described below for those. For anonymous conversations or questions about your data, contact contact@pacto.life.

Health and calendar connections

Connect your health and calendar data with your existing Pacto login. Connecting Garmin or Google Calendar is optional. Each connection gives Pacto access to that account's data; it is separate from signing in to Pacto.

With your Garmin personal API key, Pacto imports your heart rate, heart-rate variability (HRV), sleep, Body Battery and workout data. From the Google calendars you select, it imports event titles, times, response status, attendee counts and organizer domains. These records support your daily view and comparisons between events, workouts and your measurements. We use this data for the features you request, not for advertising. Saved Garmin keys and Google OAuth credentials are encrypted on the server.

To classify calendar events, an AI service receives the event title, duration, attendee counts and organizer domain. This classification request does not include raw attendee email addresses or your health measurements.

Optional Google Calendar write permission lets Pacto add a suggested walk to a calendar you own when you choose “Block it on my calendar”. Calendar permissions are a separate Google authorization, which you can manage in your Google account.

Google data use

Pacto's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Imported health and calendar records remain saved until you delete them using the controls below. The 90-day analysis window does not automatically delete older saved records.

Removing imported health and calendar data

In Connect, choose “Remove Garmin connection” to remove your saved Garmin key. Your imported data remains unless you also select “Also delete imported data and saved analysis”. Selecting that option removes imported measurements, calendar records, classifications, calculated results, suggestions and sync history from Pacto. It does not delete source history in Garmin or events in Google Calendar, and it does not revoke your Google connection. Manage that authorization separately in your Google account. Deleting saved conversations and pacts does not remove these imported health and calendar records.
